Inspired by a true story and reminiscent of the 2001 Dos Palmas incident, The Marine 2 stars WWE Superstar Ted DiBiase as Marine recon sniper Joe Linwood. Linwoods relaxing paradise holiday with his wife is suddenly shattered and turns into an all out battleground when a group of guerrilla leaders seize control of the secluded five-star resort, and take the billionaire hotel owner and a group of guests, including Joes wife, hostage demanding a substantial ranson.

With time ticking away, the rebels begin brutally murdering the hostages, Joe is forced to take matters into his own hands and use his expert skills to save his wife and the other guests from certain death.
