Never again

I look back at watching this film when it came out at the cinema and cry “why”. The ideas are good, the effects are amazing, but it doesn’t work. Effects do not make a film, it’s far more than that.

Sorry, but dreadful film to the degree I regret spending the time watching it.

it had potential, then just bombs.a shame really.

maybe its the lack of a big name actor, but i found the acting dull in places…

This will win first place for worst film ever made.

Absolutely terrible, really, really, awful.

Storyline is non-existent, acting is pathetic.

It really is a terrible film. No matter how much it cost to make, it was money wasted.

Number 1 DVD Reviewer

This film in NO WAY should have so many negative reviews etc, I personally thought this movie was epic!! Fantastic and original piece of science fiction story telling, there has been a few alien invasion films lately with District 9 and Battle L.A, but this has something much fresher than any of them, this movie feels more comic book like and tells the first part of what maybe a great sequel!! The acting was perfect really for a bunch of party people who wake up to the world being destroyed by an alien invasion, theres plenty of action and the effects are amazing with some very cool looking alien ships and monsters that look like they come from an 80′s sci-fi fantasy art book! The ending of the movie goes in a very unexpected way, some people will probably hate it yes but I thought it was great, lets hope they continue the story, this is a gem of a film the brothers Straus certainly make up for AVPR! Theres a good commentary that explains allot about what they were trying to get… more »
